This year's eligibility is similar to last year, with co-administration with flu vaccines encouraged.

The Government has accepted JCVI advice for the COVID-19 autumn/winter vaccine offer. Eligible groups are:

  • adults aged 65 years and over,
  • residents of older adult care homes,
  • those at increased clinical risk (as defined in the Green Book Chapter 14a, including pregnant women), and
  • Frontline health and social care workers

Providers will have signed up prior to the deadline of the 27th June 2024, and the Item of Service fee (Ios) is £7.54 for Covid vaccines delivered during the period of the flu campaign, with a £2.50 supplement paid for Covid vaccines administered outside of this period and a £10 additional payment for vaccines provided at home for patients.
