Media and public affairs round-up

image

Dr Michelle Drage’s response to the Autumn Statement’s lack of additional resources for general practice was covered in the Guardian, GPonline, Pulse, Practice Business and Nursing in Practice. On 28 October Dr Rebekah Dowdy, Chair of Sutton LMC, spoke to GPonline about aspects of the recently published South West London STP, following a request to our communications team. On 26 October Dr Michelle Drage was quoted in GPonline calling for the financial stabilisation of general practice two years on from the Five Year Forward View.

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. We also support practices that are approached with media requests, you can find details of how to get support here .
