Loss of Nora Breen

  • Latest news

We are sorry to have to share some sad team news, we heard on Friday 19 May that Nora Breen had passed away early in the morning.

Nora had been ill for some weeks and had been in hospital for over two months. Her health deteriorated at the start of that week and she passed away Friday morning. Nora was receiving pain relief so she was comfortable and peaceful at the end.

Nora joined the GP Support team at Londonwide LMCs in June 2007 as GP Support Manager. She has supported countless GP practices and her knowledge of NHS property issues was unrivalled. She will be greatly missed by all her colleagues and the many practices that saw Nora as a friend.

For anyone that wants to make a donation in remembrance of Nora, we have set up Just Giving pages for donations to the two charities which her friends think Nora would have wanted us to support in her memory. These are the Born Free Foundation for its work with rescuing bears and supporting bear sanctuaries across the world and the British Liver Trust, the UK’s leading liver health charity working to improve liver health for all and supporting those affected by liver disease or cancer.

We have also set up an online condolence board on which you can leave any messages.
