Media and public affairs round-up

image

Following the national LMC conference, Dr Ben Molyneux of City and Hackney LMC’s motion on providing non-NHS services to registered patients was covered in Pulse and twice in The Times which also reported on the successful motion from Tower Hamlets LMC for a ballot on a collective closing of lists. A call for GPs to be added to the UK shortage occupation list also at the conference was covered by GP Online. Our new waiting room video was covered by GP Online on 17 May, quoting Londonwide LMCs’ CEO, Dr Michelle Drage.

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. We also support practices that are approached with media requests, you can find details of how to get support here.
