London General Practice Awards 2025 winners recognised in ceremony

  • Latest news

The awards event was held in Parliament on 6 February, we would like to congratulate all those who won or were commended in their category.

We would also like to thank the judges, everyone who was nominated and those who took the time to nominate their colleagues. The event was covered in PulseGPonline and the Jewish Chronical.

Dr Lisa Harrod-Rothwell, CEO Designate, Londonwide LMCs said:

“We have wanted to find a way to recognise and celebrate the dedication and resilience of our amazing colleagues across London’s GP practices, and today we are doing just that. Over the past twelve months, we’ve achieved several standout moments aligned with our key strategic objectives. One of the areas we’ve focused on is supporting practices to maintain safe, effective care despite the immense challenges faced.

“With the tightening grip of austerity across the NHS, we’ve continued to see a shift of clinical risk and workload onto general practice. But we’ve made great strides in collaborating with other healthcare providers to address these challenges. We’re working closely with secondary care at both the regional and local levels. Regional accountability supported by our progress reports and local LMC representation is starting to drive improvements across all boroughs.”
