This spring is your opportunity to nominate yourself to stand on your LMC, you should receive a nomination pack via email at the end of April. In the meantime if you are unsure whether we have your details up to date please get in touch. You can also sign-up to our online awareness events, details of which are in the timeline below.

Update your details
Remember that we will need your up to date contact details in order for you to vote and make your voice heard. The minimum data we require for each GP who wishes to vote, is the area/borough of London you work in, the name of the practice(s) you are currently working at, your GMC number and a current email address.
If you do not receive regular emails from us, think your details need updating, or you know of any GPs who may not be receiving our updates, whether they are a partner, employed, locum, new entrant or a trainee GP, contact us on [email protected]. Timeline
The timeline for the election is as follows, check back soon for details on registering for the online awareness events.
- w/c 28 April 2025 – Digital platform launched and nomination packs emailed out.
- Wednesdays 7 and 21 May – Lunchtime online awareness events covering the role of LMCs and why GPs should consider standing. Please email [email protected] saying which of the two sessions you would like to attend and you will be send joining details closer to the start of the event.
- Tuesday 3 June, 5:00pm – Close of nominations.
- Monday 23 June – Voting papers issued/Declaration of results from those constituencies elected without a ballot.
- Tuesday 22 July 2025, 12.00 pm – Close of voting.
- Monday 28 July 2025 – Publication of results.
