Registry Offices have started requiring GMC numbers on Medical Certificate of Cause of Deaths (MCCDs). Please add it after your signature (old forms) or in the space provided (new forms).

Jeremy Hunt MP questioned on Brexit impact by Health Select Committee

Jeremy Hunt touched on general practice issues, accusing some GP leaders of scaling back their commitment to seven-day working. He also re-adjusted the Government’s 5,000 new GPs figure again, it is now “5,000 extra GPs, or thereabouts by the end of the current Parliament”.

Media and public affairs round-up

On 24 January we were quoted in a GPonline story on the effects of closing London’s last community urgent dental clinic. On 19 January Camden LMC Chair Dr Farah Jameel was quoted in BMA News who revealed the North Central London STP had spent £2.3m on consultancy fees.
