The energy bill price cap was announced for businesses on 8 September 2022 with more details published on 21 September, meaning bills will remain at 1 October levels until the end of March 2023. It was subsequently confirmed to the media that it would apply to GP practices. At the start of January 2023 the Government will undertake a review to consider which industries it considers to be vulnerable and in need of support beyond the end of March.
