We had 321 responses from 270 individual member practices, of Londonwide LMCs’ 1,119 member practices that were invited to participate in the research, this represents a response rate of 24%.
Headline figures include:
- Almost two-thirds of responding practices have a vacancy for one or more members of staff.
- Nearly two-fifths of responding practices have one or more GPs planning to retire in the next three years.
- Practices listing pay as a factor preventing or hindering staff recruitment to the practice has risen from 42% to 59% in the six months since the previous wave of the survey.
