Dr Lisa Harrod-Rothwell, CEO Designate, Londonwide LMCs
Lisa has spearheaded work on retention, safe working and service reform on behalf of over 1,100 practices in London in order to stabilise and sustain general practice and the value it brings to patients and communities. She has led the creation of a suite of resources and tools to help GPs and practice staff address issues that impact on safe, sustainable high-quality care. Lisa has also worked with a breadth of stakeholders to shape system plans in a way that supports safety and sustainability.
Dr Elliott Singer, Medical Director, Londonwide LMCs
Elliott’s LMC role includes working with LMCs in North East London, assisting individual GPs and practices, as part of the GP support team and is the Londonwide LMCs lead on technology and digital. Elliott is a keen advocate on incorporating new technology into general practice to improve patient services and help practices better manage demand. Elliott has also Chaired the England Conference of LMCs and led the Agenda Committee for several LMC Conferences.
Paul Tomlinson, Director of Resources, Londonwide LMCs
Paul has been the Director of Resources and Company Secretary at Londonwide LMCs since 2011. He is responsible for HR, finance, Corporate Governance, Data Governance and Facilities. Prior to joining Londonwide LMCs, Paul had worked in the NHS for 10 years gaining experience in Acute, Mental Health and National Leadership roles.
Paul is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and had a previous career in financial services, working for a national insurer in various managerial roles.
Sam Dowling, Director of Communications and Marketing, Londonwide LMCs
As the communications lead for London-based in-statute health body Londonwide LMCs, Sam manages messaging, strategy and influencing across all internal, member, corporate communications and public affairs channels.
Sam is an ex broadcast journalist for ITN and BBC, and also has experience as a Parliamentary speechwriter, social enterprise lobbyist in social finance and employee ownership and civil service strategist in area based initiative and community and third sector policy.
Dr Sara Riley, Medical Director SEL and GP Support, Londonwide LMCs
Outside of NHS practice, Sara is a GP appraiser and was Pastoral Support lead for Devon LMC from 2015-2018 before returning to London. Sara is a trained as a mediator and has worked with individuals in conflict. She also has experience in coaching and supporting doctors in all aspects of their professional lives. She is the lead for Londonwide LMCs GP Professional Support Network which helps GPs with a wide range of challenges they face in practice and outside of it.
Dr Marek Jarzembowski, Board of Directors, Londonwide, LMCs
Marek is Chair of Merton LMC and Vice-Chair of Londonwide Board of Directors. He has been a GP for over 30 years, most of which have been as a partner. Marek takes pride in the fact GPs have the privilege of being part of their patients’ journey through life, experiencing the highs and the lows, the joy and the grief.
His LMC work and practice is focussed around his patients and supporting all roles including nurses, receptionists and admin/managerial staff who have given him so much support throughout his career.
Dr Farah Jameel, Board of Directors, Londonwide LMCs
Farah is an award winning GP in Camden, she is Co-Chair of Camden LMC, Chair of Quality and Safety and Non-Executive Director at North London NHS Foundation Trust, Trustee of Medical Womens Federation and immediate past Executive Chair of the British Medical Association’s GPs Committee in England. She was the first woman to Chair the General Practitioners Committee in England.
Having lived in UAE and India, she has experience in national and international healthcare systems. She draws on her clinical experience to influence health policy, strategy, and implementation. She is passionate about the use of technology and data to improve patient outcomes.
Dr Simon Parton, Board of Directors, Londonwide LMCs
Prior to training as a GP Simon worked in general hospital medicine and infectious diseases. He has been a GP in Lewisham for 22 years and chair of Lewisham LMC for over 10 years. During this time he has guided his committee colleagues and constituent GP practices through numerous changes to general practice and the wider NHS. He lives in south East London and outside of work his interests include hiking, Scandinavian classical music and reading.
Sandra Younsi, Managing Partner, Vale Medical Centre
Sandra has worked in General Practice for 10 years and joined the Vale Medical Centre in December 2021 as a Managing Partner. She is passionate about general practice and is committed to supporting our clinicians while helping patients and the local community by delivering excellent patient services. Her career has previously included working in financial services and managed a renewable energy consultancy firm.
Dr Nick Woodier, Senior Safety Investigator, Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB)
Nick started his professional life as a practicing medical doctor and then moved into safety management and investigation. He holds a PhD in safety science and is a Chartered Specialist in Ergonomics and Human Factors. Nick’s previous NHS work has including as an emergency medicine doctor and a number of other roles focussed around safety and governance.
Dianne Barham, Chief Executive of Local Voice and Healthwatch Waltham Forest
Dianne has over 25 years’ experience in community engagement, working alongside a diverse range of community, voluntary and statutory organisations. She has led three local Healthwatch and leads the nationally recognised NEL Healthwatch Community Insights Project that provides regular patient experience reports on primary care services.
Gill Rogers, Founding Director of Crosspath Consulting LTD
Gill is an experienced clinician, senior manager, mediator, coach and facilitator. She is an independent consultant, facilitator and systems leader who specialises in bringing teams together to improve outcomes through working with individuals and is an accredited mediator and ‘Time to Think’ facilitator and coach. Gill regularly facilitates leadership support groups for nurses with the Florence Nightingale Foundation.
Lucie Lehane, Practice Manager, The Exchange Surgery, Streatham
Lucie has been a practice manager for over 10 years, during this time she has led the development of Primary Care Networks, managed COVID-19 vaccination clinics, and collaborated with commissioners on various projects to ensure the practice management perspective is well represented. Lucie has been chair of the Practice Managers Forum for several years and currently serve as a Practice Manager Representative for Lambeth Local Medical Committee.
